Task 1 – Completed Instruction Manual

I’m pleased with the outcome of the manual. I designed with a magazine layout in mind, because then it would be an appealing prospect to look at for people who usually see manuals as a bore to reading and look at. Using inDesign was so beneficial, it gave me an efficient service that aloud me to create my final outcome. I am very pleased with the way it looks and the way its concisely written, but the visuals aren’t necessarily how I intended. I wanted more descriptive, diagram like images to tell those reading what to do without really writing much. But I didn’t have access to getting those equipment photographs because my student card was stolen in the last week, so I was unable to book out the equipment needed. I therefore compensated with the descriptions and still provided images that would be easy to learn with along with the writing. So therefore it still turned out to be an interesting manual that I was pleased with. I feel that I could read this easily without knowing little about the studio or alternative processes, and be able to experiment and produce quality outcomes.

Here is my final manual…
